Donald Messo has not seen the fruits of his hard work six years after graduating for the University, but he is ready to take his first full salary to church when he gets a job.
Messo is currently a Masters student at Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology (JKUAT) studying Procurement and Logistics.
According to a Twitter post by Tuko, Messo used to sell mandazi so as to take care of his family.
Messo, a father of one, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from Makerere University and a Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply level IV and V qualification.
He currently sells duvets in Nairobi’s Saika and Kasarani areas which he says does not get many clients.
His plea is for any well wisher to help him get a job.
Unemployment rate in Kenya is alarmingly high with many Masters and undergraduate graduates taking years to find jobs.
The situation is so dire that a number of them stand in the streets with placards pleading and hoping someone will give them a job.
